Jemm Downloads

Well our IRM project deadline is earlier than we have expected. It will be submitted next 2 weeks from now. And we’re still actually in the planning stage of our project.

Although we have actually designed and have implemented few of the functions already, it is still at it’s infancy stage. I mean, JEMM Downloads will still be subjected to: redesigning the GUI, optimizing the queries, and recoding the codes to make sure it’s efficient.

We still have a lot of work to do. I have already redesigned the GUI, which was one of my assignment. But I haven’t finished it yet because I saw some flaws for what I did, I will check and correct those flaws before I release the other build. I also need all of the scripts made by my other members, so that I will finish everything already.

We have a lot of work to do. S.A.D. , I.R.M. these two is a lot.. . .

Jigs-QualiMed Botika ng Bayan

Our S.A.D. finally had a future. We already have a company. It’s not too big, not big, not too small, and not small. It’s on the average type of business enterprise.

Jigs-QualiMed is a pharmacy located at Sandawa Street, Davao City. It is newly established. Ms. Pamela, the owner, said to us that it was just 4 months ago since their operation started. They also sell some goods aside from selling Medicine.

After introducing ourselves and our purpose Ms. Pamela mentioned to us that she already had contacted some expert programmers but she back-outed because of the expensive service. She also mentioned that her friend, which also happens to be a programmer, offered her to create the system she needs. She told us that she will ask his friend, because they already had a contract. She asked for our contact number so that she can tell us when to investigate.

I guess we will be having trouble looking for some other systems to be automated. Ms. Pamela told us that she told his friend to create a system for her inventory, P.O. and etc. We asked her to spare some for us and not let his friend to finish all off.

We hope this friend of her will cooperate with us and as well as we to cooperate with him. I guess it’s better to know some professional programmers so that it’ll be easier for us. Being a student Systems Analyst is hard, but with the help of some expert, I guess it won’t be that hard anymore.

JEMM Downloads v.0.1- Working Prototype

JEMM Downloads- a website we’ve been building using Adobe Flex. It is a project we decided to have for our IRM (Information Resource Management) class. It’s just a simple website with simple purpose-to purchase games online and directly download them after purchase.

Below are the people behind the project and their assigned tasks.
James Angub- MySQL database, Login & Registration System, PHP Scripts, etc.
Eugene Maning(me)- User Interface, Implementation and Fusing of the Systems my colleagues made, Game Preview System
Marvin Te- Administration System, PHP Scripts, MySQL Query Optimization, etc.
Marian Kirstie Sanchez- Administration System, PHP Scripts, MySQL Query Optimization, etc.

Well, I hope we will do our assigned tasks 100% so that we will have a wonderful project.
